Teaching excellence
starts with teacher support.
I have spent my career in classrooms: as a teacher, a university lecturer, and a professional learning facilitator.
I have taught in Kenyan public schools and worked in schools offering British, IB, Cambridge, and American AP curricula. This experience has reinforced my conviction that strong classroom practice depends on meaningful support for teachers.
I founded TeachMinds Center of Teaching and Learning Excellence to offer Kenya’s private and international school teachers professional learning that is research-informed, immediately practical, and respectful of the complexity of their work.
As a PhD holder who remains active in the classroom, I bring both research and experience to my facilitation. My teaching informs the strategies I share and the support I offer.
I do not teach about teaching from a distance. I teach from inside it.
Through engagements such as our professional learning work with Anestar, I help teachers refresh their practice and create more opportunities for learners to participate.
Each TeachMinds partnership is shaped around a school’s learners, curriculum, and teachers’ real challenges. Workshops are followed by structured coaching and monitoring to help teachers put new approaches into practice and sustain improvement.
